Two Drops of Ink - A Literary Blog: Short Fiction Story - Unusual Ink |
I feel writing in a short format is a great place for me to start my fiction writing. A little less overwhelming and taking on the challenge in smaller doses. I’m slowly trying to develop and improve in the art of writing. Practice, practice, practice is the best way to do this. Also, continuous learning and reading about the craft is another way.
I’m just thrilled that Two Drops of Ink - A Literary Blog has provided both a place for aspiring and established writers
to submit their writing. In addition,
they’re generous to share literary knowledge and feature a broad sampling of
writing in various genres.
I must mention that Two Drops of Ink has been honored and awarded 9 times (and counting) on several listings for Best Literary Websites and Top Literary Blogs. The extra exposure they provide for writers is such a bonus.
You may click on the following link to read
my short fiction story, titled: Unusual Ink ~ it's a story of facing the loss of loved ones, but with an unusual twist of reconnecting to their essence.
I hope you enjoy and maybe it'll remind you of any unusual connections you've had after a loved one's passing. If so, I'd love to hear your thoughts. You may leave a comment either here or at Two Drops of Ink.

A quick snippet ~
I'm also a contributing writer on their site where you may read other short fiction stories from other writers, including my story Charlie's Shoes.
"Meagan’s petite and childlike style was never one for tattoos, but the significance of the rose had special meaning. She even surprised herself when she made the decision to get another one, much less, something so unusual and out of character."
