Grilled PB and Raspberry Sandwich

Here's a twist on the old classic PB&J sandwich!  Instead of using jelly, just mash up some fresh raspberries until it's a spreadable consistency.

Spread peanut butter on each slice of your favorite bread. Take the mashed raspberries and spread on top of the peanut butter.

Now, you could easily eat it just like this, but why not brown it in a skillet like you would a grilled cheese sandwich.

I sprayed some coconut oil cooking spray in a skillet and then toasted each side of my sandwich.

The raspberries are a great fresh fruit addition to this sammie!  You must give the grilled idea a try.

It really seems like a rich and gooey treat! Yum!!

    1. Serve with wine! Wow didn't think of that. That's a serious upgrade of sophistication to go with this Sammie. I'll have to do some sampling to figure out the best option. Thanks Anne Louise :)
