Life Is A Balancing Act

This was clearly not a good day for balance!  Haven't we all experienced an off balance day.  One day you feel like you’re walking on water and the next day you’re falling in the ole water hole of muck and weeds! Maybe it's just not one day, maybe it's several days strung together.

Balancing life day to day can seem like a dog chasing their tail or you just got stuck in a roundabout and didn’t exit at the right place!  For the love of lead foot, I still can’t get used to those things – you’re driving along at top speed and then there’s a roundabout plopped right in the middle of your cruising stride.

I do get the whole purpose of it – trying to slow traffic down, gain control, creates better flow and balance.

Maybe that’s what our life needs is a roundabout plopped in the middle of things to gain control.  Check your ebb and flow.  Balance things out. The better our balancing act, the more we can have joy and satisfaction in our life.

Enter “The Circle Of Life!”  Take a look at the circle graph below and find out what’s out of balance in your life.  I got this little bit of info from a friend, Chris de la Cruz, who just happens to be a Certified Health and Wellness Coach, and a damn good one!

So, what does your life look like? Things out of whack and off balance for you?  Chris helps her clients create a healthier life in a supportive environment that enables you to achieve your health goals.  She has great information and can help you to choose the best way through life’s traffic roundabout and back on the highway to health.

Funny, that’s where you can find her On The Highway to Health - www.onthehighwaytohealth.com or email Chris with any questions at  onthehighwaytohealth@gmail.com

Chris has all the roadside tools if your tires are feeling a little flat.

Once you’ve changed your attitude flat tire, enjoy “a square of chocolate!"

Put your smile on,
Laurie O

Feel free to share a square!

  1. I was just telling my husband that I feel like I don't have enough time. And it is starting to affect my life. I am having stress dreams that in turn make me more tired, which in turn makes me more stressed. I like this circle...I'm going to try it and see where it lands.

  3. Hi Laurie! I so believe in keeping our life in balance. I had not seen the circle/wheel that you share before and I can see where that would be really helpful. I think I would add two things to it though....for me travel is a huge necessity AND also "contribution or volunteerism" is also important. Then I think the wheel would carry everything I would want to keep balanced. And yes, beyond that, attitude is everything. Thanks for the reminders. ~Kathy
